Our yogurt icing dries hard, does not crack and will never melt.
Use: Dipping, drizzling, piping, spreading. Use as frosting on cakes or to decorate dog treats. Easy to use formula, just add tap water, stir and frost.
Note: This product is designed to be applied to treats with a textured or pourous surface. For best results, it should be wrapped around the side, and not just placed on top of the treat. If your treats are smooth, the dried frosting may lift off. Before baking, create numerous divits in smooth treats by poking them with a fork to create a rough surface. Treats must also be completely dry before frosting. Often times, large treats do not finish drying for 48 hours after baking. If frosting is applied to treats before they are dry, the icing will dry to a hard shell and then the treat will dry underneath and can create stress cracks. A good rule to follow is that if your treat does not have a crisp snap when broken in the middle, then it is not ready for frosting.
How long does yogurt frosting last? Our yogurt frosting lasts about a year either in the bag or after it is applied. There is no need to refrigerate or freeze.
Ingredients: natural yogurt [whey solids, yogurt powder (milk and yogurt culture)], cornstarch, maltodextrins, guar gum. Colors include artificial color.
